When you have kids, the water park is the place to come for smiles! Whether its H2O Zone or Splashaway Bay, Royal Caribbean cruise ships have lots of ‘cool’ water park activities for all ages (even you… Mom)! But… which one is best for your family? iCruiseApp is here to help you choose!
H2O Zone
H2O Zone has ‘cool’ activities for children of all ages. Kids will enjoy water sculptures, tricky geysers, water cannons, waterfalls, and pools (both shallow and deep).
Splashaway Bay
Splashaway Bay water park–with its huge tipping bucket–is THE place your kids will go to enjoy water fountains, water cannons, pools (both shallow and deep), whirlpools, and waterslides.
iCruiseApp Tips:
- Per Royal Caribbean, due to public health regulations, children in diapers, swim diapers, pull-ups, or who are not completely toilet trained are not allowed in the pools, and whirlpools, or H2O Zone/Splashaway Bay. Some ships have Baby Splash area (with ankle-high water) that are only for use of children that are in diapers.
- If you have kids still in swim diapers, your best bet is to choose a ship with H2O Zone.
- Children must be at least 42 inches tall to use the big slides. Max weight is 300lbs.
